Dr. Kirsten K. Shepard has been involved with holistic health care for over 12 years, beginning in Austin at Lauterstein-Conway Massage School as a massage therapist. She attended the University of Texas-Austin and graduated from Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas. Dr. Shepard relocated back to Austin after spending three years practicing in Los Angeles, California. While in Los Angeles, Dr. Shepard studied with an integrative pre-natal practice and was responsible for developing their pediatric division. In addition, Dr. Shepard also studied in a sports medicine facility where she developed her love for treating athletes.
Dr. Shepard returned to Austin and opened Longevity Wellness Group to make a difference in the community and currently works with patients within her practice as well as with the University of Texas Women’s Track team. She continues her practice through Rational Longevity Medicine & Wellness.
Dr. Shepard is a preferred provider for the University of Texas women’s track team and a lead therapist for the Texas Relays, an annual track and field competition. She is also an OUM Chiropractic Advisory Committee member and 2014 National Women of Achievement Recipient.
